also with a good captain your cruiser can shoot from a greater distance as the other sides Battleship and- eg. You even could sink an Amagi with a Cleveland (because you burn her down). in fact propably the best destroyers (but i have only US TIer6, Japan Tier3 and Russia Tier5, but from the feeling a russian T4 could beat a american T6 easily. If you have 3 Clevelands engaging on short range 3 Nuernbergs the second side would be dead - here in WoW the Nuernbergs got a high ratio of fire (for the wished 'balance it out'-effect), worst this happens with russian destroyers (that achived nil in the war, the ships were inferior to any other nations ships but in WoW they are very fast, very capable. I play it, it is fun, but - attention - has NOTHING to do with a simulation or a real life test. That is quite silly for a simulation, for a arcade game it is fun. If you have a cruiser in TIer 6 from Nation A and another one from Nation B (for example Aoba versus Cleveland) the Aoba is improved till both could beat each other.

Also - the white russian team is VERY russian - to speak mild, so there exist 'super'-russian ships that basically are better as all others. In that ships get tweaked till the wished results, balances are reached.

The one was a 'simulation', the other is an arcade game.
